North Coast Aquatics

North Coast Aquatics (NCA) is a United States Swimming (USS) affiliated club team. Founded by Coach Jeff Pease in 1979 it is now the largest and most accomplished team in San Diego County and has produced numerous Junior Olympic, Junior National, National and Olympic Trials swimmers including 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Grote and five time National Champion Tim Siciliano.

NCA is operated off of the philosophy that every swimmer, no matter what their natural talent, can work hard to meet their own individual goals. With this outlook, everyone who strives to meet their goals is a winner – not just the person who touches the wall first.

Athletes on North Coast Aquatics swim on a year-round basis at various facilities throughout north San Diego County. NCA starts accepting kids onto the team at age 6 and provides coaching for athletes throughout their college years and beyond.

Competitive swimming is a great sport in which to get your children involved. It helps the kids with developing life skills such as goal setting, discipline, work ethic and social interaction – and it is an activity they can do for the rest of their life!
